Terms of Service
These terms govern purchases from marmar studio (“the studio”, “we”).
Originals
Every work is a unique original, sold as described on its page. Colours on screen may differ slightly from the physical work — monitor rendering varies, and surface effects such as metallic leaf and relief texture can only be approximated in photographs. Reasonable variation of this kind is not a defect.
Prices & payment
Prices are in Canadian dollars unless shown otherwise. Payment is due in full at purchase; commissioned works require a 50% deposit with the balance due on completion. Title to a work passes on receipt of full payment.
Shipping
Shipping is quoted and agreed separately per work and destination, as set out in the Shipping policy. Risk passes to the buyer on delivery.
Copyright
Purchase of a physical artwork does not transfer copyright. The artist retains all reproduction rights in all works, including sold works, which may continue to appear in the portfolio, exhibitions and publications. Buyers may not reproduce a work commercially without written permission.
Certificates
Each original is signed and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Returns
Returns are governed by the Returns & Refunds policy.
